Calling All Student Directors
Interested in directing but unsure of how to get started? Want to gain experience collaborating with a team of experienced theatre artists?
Working as a student director with Artists from Suburbia gives you the opportunity to assist an experienced, established theatre artist while directly interacting with local playwrights, designers, and actors. Student directing is a great first step for anyone interested in a career in theatrical directing or looking to further their theatrical education with a more complete understanding of the function of the director and their role within the artistic process.
Regardless of your past experience, feel free to email us at [email protected] and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you are interested in learning more about directing. We will select three student directors of any age to assist our three directors for our Evening of Devised Theater.
