Auditions for An Evening of Devised Theater
Monday, May 1- Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00pm
East Bridgewater High School
11 Plymouth Street East Bridgewater, MA
Artists from Suburbia seeks a team of local actors to help us bring to life three theatrical events which will comprise our Evening of Devised Theater.
What is the Evening of Devised Theater?
Please email [email protected] to reserve your five minute audition appointment and feel free to let us know of any time limitations you have for the days of May 1 or 2. Walk-ins will be accepted if time permits.
All actors should aim to arrive 10- 15 minutes prior to their given audition time.
What to Prepare:
Actors are invited to prepare 30 seconds- 1 minute of a monologue from a play that best demonstrates their acting ability, or to select a side from a play which we will have available. Additionally, actors may opt to prepare a less conventional audition which showcases their talents. Ideas include a portion of a song sung a cappella, a brief movement combination, a reading of an original poem, or a comedy routine.
